At the end of 2020, 81% of the fish used in Mars petfood recipes around the world, including SHEBA®, came from sustainable sources aligned with our guidelines and according to the IUCN Red List, no endangered fish species were sourced.

Mars is committed to sustainably sourced fish and to achieve this, over the past 10 years, Mars has worked with its global partner The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and other leading NGOs, certifying organizations, and industry experts to make its fish buying practices more sustainable.
